Getting here

METRO: The Cleveland Park metro stop on the red line is just across the street from the Broadmoor. The metro is an excellent way to get here from elsewhere in the city. We are also located next to stops on the L2 and H2/H4 bus lines.
CAB/RIDESHARE: Input the address above or show it to your driver. Please be sure to let them know they can only enter the driveway from Connecticut Ave. and they should deliver you to the front door. The Quebec St. entrance to the driveway is not in use and is blocked, but you are welcome to get out on Quebec and walk to the front door.
CAR: We do not recommend driving to the venue for our party as there is no parking available. Please park at your hotel or in a parking garage and take public transportation, cab, or rideshare to get to and from the Broadmoor.

About the broadmoor

This building was completed in 1920 and originally served as an apartment building, but was converted to a cooperative in 1948.  Featured in Goode’s Best Addresses, the Broadmoor features an eclectic international styling and was once home to DC’s Washington Senators Baseball team.

Welcome to our home

That’s right, the astute among you may have noticed that our wedding party venue is in fact is our very own apartment building.

We are so excited that we get to share the beautiful and historic Broadmoor with you. Please do us a favor and read all the details below prior to the party. We appreciate you helping us to respect our Broadmoor community.

Navigating the broadmoor

To reach the event space (the Broadmoor’s Common Areas), enter through the front doors, proceed through either the left or right door in front of you, cross to the opposite side of the main lobby (wave to our front desk staff on your left!), and head to the stairs.

The stairs lead down to the event space and you should see a check in desk for the party. All guests are required to check in with the event desk. Restrooms will located in the hall behind the front desk. The staircase has a wheelchair lift and the staff offer use of their accessible bathroom upon request.

Guest rules

1. Please proceed straight to the event area and don’t gather in the lobby or any other areas of the Broadmoor.

2. Our event reservation does not include any outdoor spaces, please do not gather or hang out outside and for goodness sake do not walk on the lawn (we’ll be shunned).

3. There is no smoking on the Broadmoor property. If you need to smoke, please step to the sidewalk on Quebec St. or Connecticut Ave. and be courteous to pedestrians.
