Articles and White Papers

 Articles and White Papers

As a philosophy major, magazine editor, and marketing and communications specialist, writing has been a pillar of my career. Whether it’s an impactful tagline or a technical paper, I enjoy finding the right words to precisely convey concepts, ideas, and feelings. Here are a few samples of some of my recent writing projects.

Highlighted skills: technical writing and editing; review management; project management

This web feature describing NASA’s plans for the Artemis III mission that will land the first woman on the Moon was so much fun to put together. I transformed a recently published white paper that I co-authored into a compelling narrative and worked with subject matter experts across multiple teams to ensure the technical information remained accurate. I used a classic three act structure to make the content more digestible and added imagery throughout to help readers visualize what the mission will look like from the perspective of the astronauts and support teams. This is the anchor page for all Artemis III content and has been an asset in social posts and digital campaigns that reference the mission.

White Papers

In my roles at NASA, I have been lucky to be published by some of the leading aerospace organizations in the world. I co-authored, managed extensive technical reviews, and handled submission logistics. I also contributed data analysis, data visualization, and research and created materials for the presentation of papers at conferences. Unfortunately, the full papers are not publicly available but you can view the abstracts at the provided links. Contact me to request more information.
